To celebrate the International Day of Education, we are calling on young ladies to step forward and make a difference in their communities. The Youth EdUp Challenge invites you to submit a project proposal showing how you would use ₦50,000 to transform a school in your community (public schools only).

About the Youth EdUp Challenge

The Youth EdUp Challenge is a youth-led initiative designed to empower young ladies to take practical action in improving education within their communities. Participants are invited to identify real needs in local Public schools and propose impactful solutions that can be achieved with ₦50,000. This is in celebration of the 2026 International Day of Education, with the theme 'The power of youth in co-creating education

Many schools face challenges such as lack of learning materials, poor facilities, and limited support systems. The Youth EdUp Challenge provides young women with the opportunity to design simple, realistic projects that directly improve learning conditions for students.

The Youth EdUp Challenge is about turning ideas into action. By supporting young ladies to lead education-focused projects, the initiative invests in leadership, creativity and community-driven solutions that uplift schools and inspire lasting impact.

Submit Your Youth EdUp Proposal

Deadline: 21st January 2026

The Youth EdUp Challenge invites young ladies to submit a simple, practical project proposal showing how ₦50,000 can be used to improve a public school in their community. This is in celebration of the 2026 International Day of Education with the theme "The power of youth in co-creating education".

📌 At least, two outstanding proposals will be selected and funded.

  • 🏫 Focus on a real need in a public school within your community, as evidenced by your discussion with a staff member of the school.
  • 📝 Clearly explain how the funds will be used.
  • 🌱 Proposals should be realistic, practical, and impactful.
